* Stop using Aspirin (including medications containing Aspirin), Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, and other supplements as directed and other blood thinners. A complete list of medications and herbal supplements to avoid prior to your procedure will be provided.
* Quit smoking for at least two weeks before and one week after surgery; nicotine can impair circulation and healing.
* Refrain from drinking alcohol in excess for two week before and one week after surgery.
* Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your operation.
Instructions for Post-Operation Recovery from a Brazilian Butt Lift is similar to a recovery from liposuction. You are advised to wear a compression garment for at least 2 weeks and refrain from sitting for 2 weeks. There are no other restrictions on your activity in terms of exercise or carrying out your usually daily activities. You can exercise as soon as you feel up to it, which is usually in a few days. The bruising and swelling in the areas of liposuction will last for a couple of weeks.
